Our Story

Revolution Church officially began in the fall of 2013 but the origins of this vision have an earlier beginning.  While serving in Missouri, Pastor David Condry and his wife Amy began feeling God was calling them out of their current appointment into a new movement of God.  After much prayer and discernment God confirmed this calling so David and Amy returned to Vinton where they both originally resided.

A discipleship group began in the home of one of our partnering couples which became the foundation of what has now become our Huddle groups.  It was from this assembly of people that the shared vison for Revolution came to be realized and this new church in Vinton officially came to exist.  What we found to have in common was a strong longing to see God do something amazing in Vinton and the surrounding area.  The mission was to create a simple church where everyone has the opportunity to experience the life that God wants for them and authentic Christian community.

In the summer of 2014, Revolution started holding Sunday morning worship at Tilford Auditorium as preparations are made to begin getting the word out on this new church.  We were blessed to have this as our home for worship for over 2 years.  During that time God brought several new families on board with this mission for Vinton.
In March 2016, our church was able to purchase our own building.  Previously, this location served as the Vinton American Legion and Cafe De Klos.  After acquiring this building we spent the next 8 months renovating for use as our church.  On November 13, 2016, Revolution Church held our first worship service in this new location that God has blessed us with.  Our story is just beginning and we invite you to come be part of it!
